We had a fantastic stay at this charming Lewis bungalow. the house had all the facilities we needed and more. the modern kitchen and bathroom were a great addition, and the eclectic mix of furniture and decor added character. the open fire was a highlight, and we loved being able to use proper coal or peat. the double bedroom and two twin bedrooms provided comfortable accommodation, and the views from all the windows were stunning. Being just a short walk away from the traditional blackhouse village, café, pebble beach, and clifftop walk was a major plus. a perfect choice for those traveling by car.
The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel like a part of their family. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, and nothing was too much trouble.

This cozy house is like a warm embrace from your grandmother. the vintage furniture adds to its charm while the modern kitchen and bathroom bring convenience. With stunning views from every window and a pebble beach just a short walk away, the location is perfect for nature lovers. the house is dog-friendly, providing towels and balls for your furry friends.
The unfriendly attitude of a neighbor across the road dampened the overall experience.

I recently stayed at 27 Garenin Villa while passing through Carloway , and I must say, the database was incredibly convenient for my transit stay. The hotel's proximity to the nearest airport, just 34 km away, made it an ideal choice for someone traveling through. the database provided detailed information about the hotel, allowing me to easily find all the necessary amenities and services.
While the hotel itself had a cozy and comfortable vibe, there was one minor drawback mentioned in the database. It stated that the hotel appeared a little dated.

This house was mind-blowing! The mix of modern and traditional decor was super cool. The open fire was jaw-dropping and the views from the windows were amazing. Plus, they even provided dog towels and balls for our furry friend. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the blackhouse 'village' and the beach. The house was clean, comfy, and had great amenities. We had a fantastic time exploring the area and enjoying the walks. Definitely a great place for a memorable vacation.

The room at 27 Garenin in Carloway had two bathrooms, one with a shower, slippers, and a washing machine. It felt so cozy and convenient for a solo traveler like me!
Though the other bathroom had free toiletries, I personally prefer having them in the shower one.

We absolutely loved the cozy and comfortable feel of this place. It felt like stepping into your grandmother's house - warm, inviting, and full of character. the mix of old and new furniture and quirky decorations added to the charm. the open fire was a highlight, and we enjoyed using proper coal or peat for a cozy evening. the views from the windows were fantastic, and we loved waking up to them every morning. the location was perfect, with a five-minute walk to a traditional blackhouse village, a cafe, and access to a lovely pebble beach and clifftop walk. Plus, they even provided dog towels and balls for our furry friend.
That it can get quite windy on top of the hill where the house is situated. However, the stunning views definitely made up for it.
